LawnGrips introduces the Pro8

PORTLAND -- When you want something done right, you ask an expert.  Russ Stark, CEO of LawnGrips LLC, asked hundreds of them before launching the Pro8, his newest style in the LawnGrips footwear line.

"LawnGrips was founded to meet the unique footwear needs of turf and landscape professionals," says Stark. "All performance requirements such as traction, comfort, safety and durability were taken into consideration.  Consequently, LawnGrips has become the shoe of choice for groundskeepers, landscapers, mowers, irrigation specialists, and others working in the horticulture industry."

Based on feedback from professionals, Stark extended ankle support to a full 8 inches in the Pro8 but kept the characteristic LawnGrips roomy steel toe with rubber overtoe.  Pro8 are full-grain, water resistant leather with sealed seam construction that keeps feet dry.  The sole is tough butyl rubber which resists cracking and holds up to shovel work.

The "grip" in LawnGrips comes from a patented Grip-N-Gotm outsole which is based on a soccer design for maximum traction, even on wet grass.  The Pro8 is available in men's whole and half sizes 7 through 11, plus size 12 and 13.   They are now in selected stores, on internet (LawnGrips.com) or by calling toll-free on 1-877-4GRIPS1.
